Known for his unique and creative approach to skiing, Jesper Tjaeder (SWE) strikes back with yet another stunning video. This time the 25-year-old freeskier from Oestersund teamed up with Audi to ski down the artificial slopes on a waste-to-energy plant located in Copenhagen (DEN).

Amager Bakke municipal hybrid power plant produces district heating for over 60,000 households a year, also providing electricity to more than 30,000 houses. Furthermore the Copenhill gives the inhabitants a possibility to enjoy a 500-meter-long artificial ski slope in the middle of the Danish capital.

Following a plan to become carbon neutral by 2025, Copenhagen is constantly fulfilling its ambitious plan of sustainable urban developments. In the film, alongside Swedish freeskier Jesper Tjäder, star architect Bjarke Ingels answers the question of how ecology, economics and social responsibility can come together in a playful way in a world of increasing urbanisation.
