It's a big day here at FIS, as the voting has just wrapped up online at the 52nd FIS Congress and Johan Eliasch has been elected as the new FIS President, taking over from outgoing President Gian Franco Kasper (read more HERE). The whole FIS family including us here on the Freestyle and Freeski side of things are hugely excited to be building toward a bright future for skiing and snowboarding with Mr. Eliasch at the helm.

Now, back to our regular scheduled Rundown programming, as we've once again scoured the the wide and wild world of social media in search of the best, brightest, and wildest of the past week, bringing it to you all here in one convenient package to send you buzzing into the weekend.

First up we've got Swiss aerials stud Noe Roth with the visual representation of these Friday vibes, launching a big ol' lawndart frontflip of joy at the water ramps last week. There's probably not much chance we're going to see Noe putting this one down in competition next year, but we've consulted with several armchair judges and this jump is scoring 10's across the board on the BM ("Big Mood") scoring system.

Slightly more technical in execution but no less fun to watch is this corked 1440 from last season's moguls Rookie of the Year Nick Page of the USA. Nick's got one of the strongest 4x spinners in the game, and we can't wait to see some more of these in competition next season...

For a little bit of a reference point as far as progression goes, here's a throwback to Yugo Tsukita taking second place at the 2005 Tignes moguls World Cup, back when the corked 720 was pretty much the most technical air on tour...

One more moguls throwback while we're in the mood here, as we look back to Dale Begg-Smith showing why he was one of the greatest to ever do it with this run in the middle of a blizzard at Lake Placid. The footwork to keep the skis pointed down after a couple mistakes up top on this one is pretty incredible...

It may be Friday, but there was nothing casual about today for rising ski cross star Ollie Davies. Ollie's on site in France at Les Deux-Alpes and he's pushing hard as he looks to build off his fourth-place finish at Idre Fjall (SWE) World Champs this past season and make some noise in 2021/22. This start section training session looks like a full-on quad destroyer...

Sticking with ski cross for a second, some good news out of the Canadian spring trainnig camp, where PyeongChang 2018 silver medallist Britt Phelan has taken another step in her lengthy return from a knee injury. Britt's took part in her first training camp in over a year, and to celebrate the occasion the Canadians got the whole squad together for a little photo-op...

Focusing on freeski for a minute now, as over in Hintertux the likes of Lukas Muellauer, Sam Baumgartner and Lara Wolf of Freeski Austria are getting after it at their glacier training camp. Judging by these photos it's looking like a mid-winter set-up there with the quality of the jumps, and we're feeling pretty jealous sitting here at the home office (aka the couch)...

If you don't happen to have access to a glacier training facility, however, you could always follow the lead of living legend Nick Goepper and bring the mountain to your backyard. All you need's a little lumber, some astroturf, a PVC pipe, and some creativity and you too can be jibbing your way into the summer and beyond...

If you're looking to continue your aerials training through the summer the principals apply - in general. However, you're going to need a slightly more...robust facility, including a couple million litres of water to land in. Luckily for Ashley Caldwell, the US team has just such a spot at the Utah Olympic Park...

No pool - and no skis - needed for Aspen 2021 halfpipe World Champion Nico Porteous to get wet though, as he's out in Nicaragua gettin' pitted...

Also trading in his skis for a board is Max Moffat, locking into a lengthy back tail in Whistler after what appears to have been a lengthy battle with the ledge trying to get the trick...

Speaking of long slides, here's Quinn Wolferman breezing a 270-on through the 80-footer at Mammoth...

We've watched this rotation from Spains Javi Lliso about 25 times already today. We also hella miss this feeling, Javi...

But to finish it off this week, we're gonna keep it simple - zero spins and zero worries courtesy of Nicola Bollinger and our friends at Downdays.eu...
