La Molina (ESP) will host the FIS Para Snowboard World Championships starting today and running through March 17th. It will be the first time that the Championships are staged under the FIS flag after the governance was transferred from the IPC at the start of the season.
The competition will feature 48 participants from 19 countries with several disciplines such as: Snowboard Cross and Dual Banked Slalom.

The trainings and tests will be held in the Torrent Negre area, on the slopes of Els Plans and Solei and the organizing committee is pushing to prepare the best possible slope conditions for the first competitions by the end of this week.
