With the countdown clock reading just 12 days, the buzz surrounding the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2017 in St. Moritz (SUI) is all around as the final preparations and finishing touches are being made.
Many of the speed athletes have already descended on the Swiss resort to begin training for the upcoming World Championships, which open on 6th February with a full line-up of entertainment during the Opening Ceremony. As the saying goes, ‘the early bird gets the worm’ and in the case of the World Championship, the St. Moritz Organisers have created a special World Championship Opening Special for fans looking to experience the World Championships live.
Centrally located in the Alps between Austria, Italy and Germany, the Organisers are expecting many international fans to make day trips to watch the World Championship races. Tickets are still available for most races for those looking to make a last minute trip to St. Moritz.
There is also no shortage of ways to follow the World Championships both on and off site. The St. Moritz 2017 team has created an App which is sure to be a great resource for those on site to discover the many side events and practical travel information. And naturally, all of the action from the World Championship can be followed via the FIS App with live timing and results.
