Freestyle Junior Worlds coming up in Valmalenco

From 3rd-7th April 2017, the FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships will showcase a stacked field of over 440 talented future stars from 26 nations in Chiesa/Valmalenco (ITA). It will be the fifth time the experienced and loyal Organisers are hosting the event.

The medal competitions will be staged in the events of aerials, moguls, dual moguls, slopestyle and ski cross for ladies and men. Age categories range between 1996-2003, depending on the event.

Sildaru and Kreienbuehl take halfpipe titles

Meanwhile, the ski halfpipe Junior World Championships were staged last weekend in Crans Montana (SUI) with Kelly Sildaru (EST) and Rafael Kreienbuehl (SUI) taking the titles.

They were joined on the podium by Svea Irving (USA) and Valeria Demidova (RUS) on the ladies’ side, and Samson Schuiling (USA) and Robin Briguet (SUI) on the men’s side.
