England’s National School Snowsports week has become a staple of the snow sports calendar. Taking place in April each year, the event aims to provide school children around England a chance to try snow sports. To do this, discounted offers including lift, lesson and equipment packages are provided at over ten snow sports centres around the country.
After a winter in the UK which has seen plenty of snowfall and many persons taking advantage of unexpected on-snow time around country - including PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games Snowboard big air bronze medallist Billy Morgan just after his return from Korea - FIS Secretary General and British native Sarah Lewis commented: “To see so many centres taking part is excellent. We certainly hope and encourage schools around England to take this opportunity and provide a different type of classroom for their students.”
Schools interested in the programmes should contact a participating centre and register their class.
