NSA Survey on Gender Equality

Calling all National Ski Associations for your feedback!

At the 51st FIS Congress in Costa Navarino, the FIS Council appointed a Gender Equity Working Group to address this important topic, chaired by FIS Council Member Martti Uusitalo, who was also a former head coach of the Finnish Ladies Alpine Team.

FIS is now conducting this survey to gather data about the status of gender balance within FIS and the 130 National Ski Associations. Please note there are no 'wrong' answers. FIS is simply aiming to get an accurate snapshot of where we stand in terms of gender balance.

Your answers are important and will assist the working group to determine the direction of our future activities to address gender balance.

The subject of gender equality is also who has recently published a report: IOC Gender Equality Review Project Recommendations. Consequently the information that each National Ski Association submits as part of this survey will also contribute to providing the IOC with an accurate overview of the status of the FIS disciplines.

high on the agenda of the IOC

May we thank you in advance for your cooperation with the request to complete the Survey by 15th July 2018.
