With just 200 days to go until the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Games begin, the Local Organising Committee announced a major milestone with ticket sales officially launched through: https://tickets.pyeongchang2018.com/.
With a total of 280,000 tickets for sale, prices range from 16,000 KRW (approximately 15 USD) for a number of events including Para Biathlon, Wheelchair Curling preliminaries and Para Alpine Skiing; up to 140,000 KRW (approximately 125 USD) for the top seating category at the Opening Ceremony, which will take place at the PyeongChang Olympic Stadium. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis for fans from around the world, with one person being able to buy a maximum of 50 tickets across all events.
The six sports include PyeongChang are Para Alpine Skiing, Para Biathlon, Para Cross-Country Skiing, Para Ice Hockey, Para Snowboard and Wheelchair Curling. Korean sports fans will be looking forward to supporting their Para Ice Hockey Men’s Team who took bronze in the World Para Ice Hockey Championships in April and are training hard to get their hands on a Paralympic medal in the Gangneung Hockey Centre.
International spectators can buy their tickets to the Games from the designated Authorized Ticket Resellers in their country of residence - more information is available on the official ticketing website.
