Each year, 1st July brings excitement to the Bring Children to the Snow family as the registration for World Snow Day opens.
World Snow Day Tarvisio (ITA) took the honour of the first event to be officially confirmed with their registration arriving a few minutes past midnight on the opening day. Other notable mentions go to the Vistosha Winter Festival (BUL), Mount Baldy World Snow Day (CAN), La Rosiere World Snow Day (FRA), Svi na Sneg (SRB), Parnassos World Snow Day (GRE), Ziua Mondiala a Zapezii (ROM) and winners of the Best World Snow Day 2017, Zakopane (POL). In total 15 countries registered within the first days of the opening.
“15 countries in the first three days is a record for World Snow Day, which is a testimony to the successful progress of the World Snow Day. We are looking forward to seeing which events will be next” said FIS President Gian Franco Kasper.
Registration for World Snow Day 2018 will remain open until 15th December 2017. All World Snow Day events seeking official status are required to register. Registration is free of charge and can be completed online via the link below:
