With less than 80 days until the start of the Olympic Winter Games 2018, FIS Newsflash, in collaboration with the Olympic Channel, relives the most memorable sport moments from the 2014 Olympics in Sochi (RUS).
In the men’s Ski Jumping events in Sochi, Kamil Stoch (POL) won double gold on the large and normal hill. Only Ski Jumping legend Matti Nykaenen (FIN) and Simon Ammann (SUI) have won double gold previously.
Meanwhile, Japanese veteran Noriaki Kasai claimed an outstanding silver on the large hill in Sochi at the age of 41 to become the oldest ski jumper to win an Olympic medal, 20 years after he took the same medal at the Olympic Games in Lillehammer (NOR) in 1994.
