Seventh edition of World Snow Day confirmed

Following the success of World Snow Day 2017, FIS confirmed that the seventh edition of World Snow Day will take place on 21st January 2018.

The 2017/2018 season will be an important one as a new set of World Snow Day goals will begin. Additionally, the date of World Snow Day is shortly before the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang (KOR).

FIS President Gian Franco Kasper said: “It has been a pleasure for FIS to connect and support the grass roots of snow sports. The next edition of World Snow Day will be important and we encourage all current and potential Organisers to create an event to give children a chance to explore, enjoy and experience snow sports.”

Organisers of the seventh edition of World Snow Day can also expect all the same support features, including Event Planning materials, Organiser Care Packages and much more.

Registrations for the seventh edition of World Snow Day will be open from 1st July 2017 until 15th December 2017.  Organisers can find all the key dates for the event in the World Snow Day Event Planning Manual by clicking the link http://world-snow-day.com/en/WSD/About_/Event_Planning_Manual
