Serving as an excellent opportunity to learn and share, the annual FIS Leaders’ Seminar as part of the FIS Development Programme will be held from 23rd-25th August 2017 in Brussels (BEL).
This year, the Leaders’ Seminar will cover the topic “From good to excellent – Continental Cup to World Cup”.
Following an opening address by FIS Secretary General Sarah Lewis, the participants will hear lectures from Janez Flere, FIS Alpine Technical Coordinator, Gagik Sargsyan, Secretary General of the Armenian Ski Federation, Claudia Casanova, coach in Davos and Karen Persyn, Belgian Alpine athlete.
Furthermore, the participants will be treated to workshops by the FIS Development Programme Coordinators Markus Malsiner, Sandro Pertile and Martijn Oostdijk who will share their expert advice in the disciplines of Alpine, Nordics and Freestyle/Snowboard.
A round table discussion both from within the ski family including FIS Development Programme Consultant Josef Zenhäusern and FIS Head of Services Andreas Wenger, and the ski industry including FIS partners Eddy Frère from Sufag (MND), Dirk von Unger from Liski and Fritz Reinhard from Doppelmayer/Garaventa Group will round out the two-day gathering.
The seminar is open to participants of the FIS Development Programme Member Associations.
