Ski Jumping

The Ski Jumping Committee discussed a number of proposals. The following ones were approved by the FIS Council:

A system will be tested during the Summer Grand Prix with no pre-qualified athletes. All ski jumpers will need to go through the qualification round.

In the future, ski jumping suits will no longer be plombed. Additionally, two-piece underwear will become mandatory for all athletes.

The application from BWT (Best Water Technology) to introduce new BWT Ski Jumping skis, produced by Fischer Sports was approved. BWT is a leading European company specialised in water purification technology.
