Sophie Rodriguez might be a late bloomer for a halfpipe rider as she decided to skip boarder cross pretty late in her career but in the end, it's the riding that counts.

And that is pretty technical as the 1994 born rider is not only capable of stomping a 900 and a frontside 720 rodeo in her run; the Grenoble resident is also one of the few female athletes showing off some switch tricks with style at competition days.

Her huge bag of tricks has made the two-time Olympian with her best finish coming in Vancouver in 2010 (5th in halfpipe) one of Europe's finest halfpipe riders who has collected 15 World Cup podiums including two wins until the end of the 2013 season.

In addition, the well-experienced rider who learned snowboarding in the age of six with her father and thanks to the snowboard school at Les 7 Laux won Halfpipe Bronze at the last FIS Snowboard World Championships in Canada.
