Update on nominations for the FIS Athletes‘ Commission 2017-2019

National Ski Associations can still submit nominations for candidates to stand for election to the FIS Athletes’ Commission 2017-2019 during the respective FIS World Championships in 2017.

FIS has adapted the criteria so that a maximum of two candidates per nation may stand for election to the FIS Athletes' Commission irrespective of gender, whereby they must be in a different FIS discipline. Previously, candidates from the same nation had to be of different gender.

The composition for the Athletes’ Commission 2017-2019 is as follows:

Cross-Country Skiing: 2 members - 1 female and 1 male
Ski-Jumping: 2 members - 1 female and 1 male
Nordic Combined: 1 member - 1 male
Alpine Skiing: 2 members - 1 female and 1 male
Freestyle Skiing: 2 members - 1 female and 1 male
Snowboard: 2 members - 1 female and 1 male
