The last week before Christmas had the Nordic Combined, Alpine, Skicross, Freeski and Snowboard World Cups in action before all athletes jetted off for a well-deserved rest during the holidays. While the Nordic Combined athletes ended their year 2018 in Ramsau am Dachstein (AUT), the Alpine skiers were active in Saalbach-Hinterglemm (AUT), Courchevel (FRA) and Madonna di Campiglio, coming out of a packed mid-week schedule. In Freestyle, the Cross Alps Tour crowned their champions in Innichen (ITA), while the Freeskiers and Snowboarders were active in Secret Garden (CHN). The Snowboard Cross season got underway in Cervinia (ITA).
