On 15th May 2019, the International Olympic Committee announced the composition of its working commissions for 2019 which guide the IOC and the Organising Committees for the Olympic Games in their missions. FIS is very well represented within these commissions, with the following individuals serving.
FIS President Gian Franco Kasper will continue to serve on the Coordination Commission for the XXIV Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. He also remains a member of the Olympic Channel Commission and serves as Vice-President of Olympic Channel Services S.A.
Sarah Lewis, FIS Secretary General, is a member of the Olympic Programme Commission and she is also on the Coordination Commission for the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games Lausanne 2020, as well as the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games IOC Coordination Commission as Secretary General of the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF).
Kikkan Randall, former U.S. Cross Country athlete and FIS Athletes' Commission Chair is a member of the IOC Athletes' Commission and the Women in Sport Commission.
FIS Vice President Janez Kocijancic remains a member of the Olympic Solidarity Commission. Alfons Hoermann, FIS Council Member and President of the German NOC is a member of the IOC Marketing Commission. Roman Kumpost, FIS Council Member, was appointed to the Evaluation Commission for the Olympic Winter Games 2026 and the Communications Commission.
Brazilian Snow Sports Federation's CEO and Technical Director Pedro Cavazzoni was newly appointed to the Olympic Programme Commission.
