FIS Travel helps Alpine men reach Vail/Beaver Creek comfortably

The FIS Audi Alpine Ski World Cup mens’ teams and organisational groups had a significant distance to cover last Sunday travelling from Lake Louise (CAN) to Vail - Beaver Creek (USA). After the super G event in Lake Louise (CAN), FIS Travel transported 99 persons, including athletes from eight nations, FIS staff and media representatives, to reach Vail / Beaver Creek fast and comfortably with a charter flight.

An Embraer 100 took to the skies from Calgary airport and flew the direct route to closest airport at tVail / Eagle. After a flight time of two hours fourty minutes, the group arrived in Vail, where the Organising Committee awaited them directly at the plane with mini buses, enabling them to reach their hotels only 30 minutes later.

FIS Travel AG, with FIS as its principal shareholder,  is based at the FIS headquarters in Oberhofen (SUI). The travel agency plans and organises travel for the National Ski Association teams, FIS and extended family including the ski industry manufacturers, media, marketing agencies, technical service providers and other persons involved with the FIS World Cup series, as well as for other International Federations, and specialises in transporting teams both to competitions and training camps.
