In the skiing and snowboarding community, different initiatives have been started to auction ski and snowboard items to benefit different Coronavirus relief initiatives.
In Italy, Cortina 2021’s efforts to support the local hospital in Belluno continue with charity auction run on CharityStars, an Italian digital platform dedicated to raising funds through online auctions.
After the trophies from the World Cup Finals were auctioned off three weeks ago, now some memorabilia belonging to the World Cup Ambassadors and local young winter sports athletes, as well as products and sports equipment provided by the partners of Fondazione Cortina 2021, are being offered. Items range from Sofia Goggia's helmet, to Kristian Ghedina's boots, to Nordica Dobermann Cortina 2021 limited edition skis.
