The 10th edition of the Nordic Combined TRIPLE will take place from 27. – 29. January 2023. Once again, Seefeld (AUT) which wasn’t the host only once due to the 2019 Nordic Ski World Championships, will hold the traditional season highlight, which for the first time also includes events for the women.

Three exciting days in Austria can be expected with many potential podium contenders in the five Individual Gundersen competitions.

In the men’s ranking, Overall World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber will try to repeat his TRIPLE title from 2021 after some health issues in Klingenthal (GER) last weekend.

Klingenthal’s double winner Johannes Lamparter will do everything in his power to win the title for the first time in front of his home crowd in Austria, while his teammate Franz-Josef Rehrl is also to be reckoned with.

From Germany, Vinzenz Geiger and Julian Schmid in particular are considered podium candidates, while Norwegian Joergen Graabak will not be on start after a positive corona test two weeks ago. He’s therefore not able to defend his title from last year for health reasons.

For the women, Overall World Cup leader Gyda Westvold Hansen is the favorite for the first World Cup victory in Seefeld in history.

In addition to her, Nathalie Armbruster from Germany, Italian Annika Sieff and local hero Lisa Hirner also have a good chance of a spot on the podium.

Since the women only have two competitions, there will be no TRIPLE ranking for them this year yet.
