Roman Koudelka wins Czech nationals

Roman Koudelka claimed the title at the Czech national championships on the large hill in Liberec on Saturday.

The 30-year-old Lomnice-native won the competition on the HS 136 on the Jested with jumps of 135 m and 130 m and 334.7 points. The second place went to Filip Sakala, who jumped on 135 m and 132 m and came in close behind the winner with his 333.3 points.

25 points behind the two best athletes of the day, Cestmir Kozisek took the third spot on the podium with 132 m and 120.5 m and a total of 308.2 points.

The places four to six went to Vojtech Stursa, Viktor Polasek and Dusan Dolezel.

Benedikt Holub, who finished tenth overall in this competition, won the Juniors title with jumps of 116 m and 109 m (189.9 points), ahead of Sebastian Kellermann (113.5 m and 110.5 m; 184.7 points) and Radek Rydl (106.5 m and 108 m; 171.6 points).
