The team of Austria, with Julia Muehlbacher, Jan Hoerl, Eva Pinkelnig, and Daniel Tschofenig, won the mixed team event in Rasnov. The competition was decided after the first round due to the strong, changing winds.

Daniel Tschofenig, who also won the premiere of the Super Team competition together with Manuel Fettner yesterday, said: "It was pretty windy during the first round. When you look up the hill right now you can see that it was definitely the right decision of the jury to cancel the second round. It would just not have been possible to jump in these conditions."

For Tschofenig's teammate Eva Pinkelnig it was also the second win of the weekend after the 32-year-old claimed the win in the individual competition on Saturday. "The decision to cancel the final round was absolutely right, the safety of the athletes always comes first and the wind gusts were unpredictable. I had some cool jumps here and won twice, it's going well for me right now in the competitions. Ski Jumping is fun, but there's still a lot of work left to do", said Pinkelnig.

It was a tight race for the win in this competition until the very end between Austria and Slovenia. Nika Prevc, Patrik Vitez, Ursa Bogataj, and Peter Prevc only scored 3.7 points less than the Austrians today with their four jumps. And also the team of Norway was not far behind. The Norwegians came in only 9.9 points behind the winners, it was a well-deserved third place for Thea Minyan Bjoerseth, Bendik Jakobsen Heggli, Silje Opseth, and Fredrik Villumstad.

One of the two surprises today was provided by the Swiss team with an almost sensational fourth place. A fantastic result for Gregor Deschwanden, Dominik Peter, and the two young athletes Sina Arnet and Emely Torazza.

The teams of Germany and the Czech Republic came in fifth and sixth, Romania surprised in seventh today. The team of Japan finished only ninth after yesterday's winner Ren Nikaido (boots) was disqualified.

For the men, the Grand Prix continues next weekend in Hinzenbach, the women will compete again in the final event in Klingenthal in two weeks.
