We're well into July and snowboard-related news has truly slowed to a trickle, with the start of South American and Australia-New Zealand Cup seasons still weeks away and action on hill around the northern hemisphere gradually tapering out the longer we slide into summer. However, with all of that being said, it turned out to be a pretty exciting week for clips and content, and we've got a selection of the best here in this week's Monday Mix.

Zeb Powell (USA) rips 203cm swallowtail at Woodward Copper park session

Zeb Powell has been making a name for himself as one of the most stylish, innovative, and naturally-talented riders coming up out of the USA's east coast scene for a few seasons now, and his latest antics from last week at Woodward Copper only amplify that fact. There, Powell hopped on a 203cm swallowtail board and proceeded to casually destroy the Copper park, despite the board being literally taller than he his. The switch bs 270 on at the end is truly something to behold...

And another clip freshly posted from Mr. Powell himself...

Jarryd Hughes (AUS) hosts rail jam in downtown Sydney

When he's not busy winning PyeongChang 2018 Olympic silver or successfully nailing the bottle cap challenge live on morning television, Australian SBX rider Jarryd Hughes this past week hosted a rail jam competition at the Greenwood Hotel in the middle of downtown Sydney. Looks like we're still waiting on a highlight video out of the competition, but this teaser vid gives you a pretty good idea of the vibe...

And here's a shot from 14-year-old Aussie rider Valentino Guseli to give you a little better sense of the set-up at the unique event...

AJ Muss (USA) drifting madness

One of the USA's best alpine riders, AJ Muss keeps his pedal to the floor in the summer competing in the Formula Drift series of car racing, and the 24-year-old just released this insane drone video that captures all the noise, smoke, and slippery goodness that goes into some expert-level drifting...

Maddie Mastro (USA) drops fresh double crippler clip

19-year-old Maddie Mastro had quite the year last year, becoming the first woman to land a double crippler in the pipe, before going on to become the first woman to land a double cork of any kind in international competition on her way to winning the 2019 Burton Open. On Sunday she posted a fresh clip of what is becoming her signature trick, just to remind us all how truly sick it is...

US riders sing karaoke, take acting lessons with Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo

Not sure what the explanation is here and maybe we don't really even want to know, but somehow US SBX team riders and all-around rock n rollers Hagen Kearney and Nate Holland (along with some of their US ski team compatriots) got together to duet with actor Gaten Matarazzo (of Stranger Things fame) on Simple Minds' classic 1985 hit "Don't You Forget About Me." We've reached out to the US team to find out if the guys are available to do weddings, and will keep you posted...

Matarazzo followed this up with a little lesson in method acting for the like of Maddie Mastro and Red Gerard...

Thomas Feurstein (AUT) epic pond skim at Montafon

Everybody loves a good pond skim, and this one from Freeride World Tour shredder Thomas Feurstein up in Montafon from last week is perhaps the best we've seen so far this summer. That method over the rock on the run-in? Ooh baby...

Rene Rinnekangas (FIN) late-night back rodeo in Norway

We'll finish things off this week with a little moment of zen courtesy of Rene Rinnekangas, who dropped this buttery-smooth back rodeo 720 sometime around 10:00pm up in Folgefonna, Norway, where the sun seems to never set in the summer...

See ya next week!
