ANC and SAC 2019 season round-up

The 2019 FIS Snowboard Australia New Zealand Cup and South American Cup seasons both wrapped up in the past couple of weeks, with the final event of the 2019 ANC season taking to New Zealand’s Cardrona Alpine Resort in the form of halfpipe competition on October 2, while the final events of the SAC saw a pair of snowboard cross competitions go down in Cerro Catedral, Argentina, from September 28-29.

Many World Cup riders took part in this season’s Continental Cups south of the equator, as the series’ continue to be both an important stepping-stone for riders looking to raise their level to top international competition, as well as some of the best warm-up events for the northern hemisphere’s World Cup season for those athletes already established amongst the world’s elite.
