Matti Nykaenen passed away

Finnish Ski Jumping legend Matti Nykaenen passed away last night at the age of 55.
So far there is no information regarding the cause of Nykaenen's death.

Matti Nykaenen was a superstar of Ski Jumping: With four Olympic gold medals, seven World Championship titles, two wins of the 4-Hills-Tournament, four overall World Cup titles and 46 individual World Cup wins his achievements are outstanding.

Off the hills, Nykaenen was struggling with alcohol problems and the consequences of heavy drinking.
