FIS extends deepest condolences for the loss of Maurice Adrait

FIS has learned with profound sadness of the passing of Maurice Adrait, affectionately known throughout the skiing community as "Momo."

An iconic figure in French skiing, Maurice Adrait dedicated much of his life to the French Ski Federation. After beginning his career as an alpine ski coach, he went on to serve as Head of Press Relations for the French Alpine Ski Team. Passionate, committed, and deeply devoted to the French national teams, he left a lasting mark on generations of athletes, coaches, media representatives, and colleagues.

His enthusiasm, generosity, and love for the sport will remain an enduring memory for all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

FIS extends its deepest condolences to Maurice Adrait's family and loved ones, as well as to the FFS and everyone whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed by the international skiing community.
