With another victory on home snow

Already from the first leg the Norwegian/Russian dominance was made clear. Emil Iversen from team Norway 1 held the leading position with Toenseth (Norway 2) and Belov (Russia 1) close behind. At the first exchange, Norway 1 and 2 headed off with a 16.1 second lead before Alexander Bolshunov started his laps. Within the first km Bolshunov caught up with Sundby and Holund and took over the leading position. Team Norway 2 fell 30 seconds behind and laid in the eye sight of the following group led by Swiss Dario Cologna

The 3rd leg was led by Russian Denis Spitsov and Sjur Røthe. They ensured a 50 second gap to the following teams and got ready for an exciting final leg when they passed over to their colleagues Finn Haagen Krogh and Andrey Melnichenko. The Russian continued the lead until the finish line laid in eye sight when Krogh attacked and led team Norway to their 5th consecutive relay event win at the World Cup.
