For the second time at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, the Norwegian Cross-Country team can celebrate a podium sweep. Hans Christer Holund celebrates his second World Champions title in the 15km F individual start. The 32 year-old was out of words after his victory.
Holund takes the title of World Champion in 10km individual start and crosses the finish line with a margin of 20 seconds to second placed Simen Hegstad Krüger. The 27 year-old current Olympic silver medalist in this discipline also doubles up on his silver medal in Skiathlon one week earlier. Krüger hits the finish 15 seconds faster than the rookie on the podium, Harald Østberg Amundsen. 22 years-young but well in the footsteps of his team colleagues, Amundsen takes the bronze medal in his first ever World Championship race, despite a fall in the final kilometer that costs him around 10 seconds.
