This is the numbers that Maurice Manificat can look back on after almost 20 years in the World Cup.

"My time with the French cross-country skiing team ends after the 2023-24 season, after I have spent more then 20 years in it." He writes on his instagram.

"...On this long journey, I have many memories. But the one that makes sense, are all the intense sharing moments that I've experienced. Thank you to the team. As a symbol, it's time for me to pass it on to this already flaming French team."Maurice Manificat

Throughout his career, Manificat has been admired for his technical skills, specially in classic. He is most known for the relays throughout the career. Of his eight major championship medals, four is from the Olympics and four from the World Championships, he also has one individual one: from the 2015 World Championships in Falun, where he took silver in the 15-kilometer freestyle.

"The competition doesn't stop yet, but let's finish this season already!" He ends his post with, he remains a respected figure in the world of cross-country skiing, thank you Momo.
