Heavy overnight snowfall continuing into the early morning forced the jury in conjunction with the local organising committee to cancel the ladies' Audi FIS Ski World Cup super-G race at Rosa Khutor (RUS) on Saturday. The race has been rescheduled for Sunday, 3 March 2019. The St. Anton super-G race that was previously rescheduled for Sunday, 3 March 2019 has been cancelled.

All efforts are now focused on preparing the slope for one super-G race on Sunday starting at 10:30 LOC / 8:30 CET. The weather forecast is favorable with sunshine on the way, but there is still significant work needed to ready the hill for racing.

FIS has been nothing but impressed by the organisation at World Cup Rosa Khutor which has provided support for smooth travel and transportation to all teams and personnel of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup. The Rosa Khutor resort is an Olympic legacy venue that is a true success story, having evolved into a thriving snow sports hub in the region. Weather circumstances in the mountain environment are uncontrollable, and the LOC of World Cup Rosa Khutor in conjunction with FIS are doing everything possible to ensure Sunday’s super-G race.
