Skiers' holidays

After an intense winter season, both physically and mentally, it's time to take a break and recharge the batteries for summer training and the season ahead.

We “spied” through social media, where and how our athletes spend their holidays.

Let's start with the two superstars of the season, Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) and Marco Odermatt (SUI).

The American superstar flew to the island of Maui with her partner Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR). The couple took a few days off, mixing physical training with water sports.

Marco Odermatt has kept his holiday destination a secret, but social media shows us that he enjoyed surfing, took part in a music festival and was in Monaco for the F1 Grand Prix.

Petra Vhlova (SVK) relaxed on the magnificent beaches of Mauritius and went diving to discover marine life.

The father-to-be, Henrik Kristoffersen (NOR), enjoyed his last holiday together with his sweetheart before welcoming their baby due this summer. The destination was perfect for a romantic break, as they spent some time in the magical canals of Venice.

Lucas Braathen (NOR), as usual, travelled to several places. But it was in his beloved Brazil that he spent time surrounded by family and friends.

Corinne Suter (SUI) opted for adventure in Sri Lanka. As an animal lover, she didn't wait long before finding a local animal companion.

The list of holidays could go on and on, but here's one last choice destination to whet your appetite.

Alexis Pinturault (FRA) and his wife travelled to Micronesia, where the photos are all more beautiful than the last.
