Déjà-vu in Rosa Khutor

About a year ago, the same thing happened, and now it feels like deja-vu.
Heavy snowfall continued for two days forced the jury with the local organising committee to cancel Women’s Audi Fis Ski World Cup Downhill program at Rosa Khutor on Saturday due to unsafe snow conditions on the race track. The weather forecast looked suitable for the weekend, blue sky on Saturday and a light snowfall on Sunday but the hill has to be readier for racing.

The decision taken to cancel the downhill run in the early morning will give the time required to prepare the slope for the super g, watering the softer sections and removing the accumulated snow due to guarantee a safe race. All efforts are now focused on preparing the slope for the super g race on Sunday starting at 11.00 LOC/8 CET.
