Heavy snowfall has caused the cancellation of the last women’s World Cup Alpine combined in La Thuile, reducing the number of races left for the season to seven.
As per the regulations, with two races held it is possible to assign the discipline globe and therefore Federica Brignone (ITA), with two alpine combined wins, was able to secure the discipline globe, the first of her career.
Wendy Holdener (SUI) and Ester Ledecka (CZE) follow the Italian in the discipline standings respectively in second and third. For the Czech skier, it is a great surprise to be in the top 3 of this discipline, mainly thanks to her podium at Crans Montana.

Federica Brignone leads the overall World Cup standings with 1,378 points,
the Italian is 153 points ahead of three-time overall champion Mikaela Shiffrin.
