Parallel slalom was debuted on the World Cup circuit 2 years ago in Courchevel. As last year, St.Moritz has been the stage of a perfect Parallel Show with another sun-bathed day and hyped crowd who cheered for all the athletes.
Still, one, in particular, embrace the enthusiasm of the crowd: Petra Vlhova finally got the elusive parallel win topping Anna Swenn Larsonn in the big final.
Vlhova rallied from a slower start in the final to edge ahead of Anna Swenn Larsson by just 0.02 seconds at the line.
The Slovakian ski star achieved her 10th career World Cup wins and made another step in Slovakian history achieving a Parallel World Cup victory for the first time.
In the third-place race, Franziska Gritsch beat Meta Hrovat to take her first career podium finish.

The Audi FIS World Cup tour moves ahead in its intensive December program as the next stop is Courchevel (FRA) for a weekly giant slalom and Val D’Isere to hit some speed with the third downhill of the season and first Alpine Combined again.
