Panorama is ready to race and currently hosting the next generation of World Cup athletes at the 40th FIS Alpine World Junior Championships.

From 1st to 9th of March the world’s best 16-20-year-olds are fighting for medals in 12 events taking place in Panorama Mountain Resort (CAN).

The final preparations in the renowned winter destination Panorama, beautifully situated in South Eastern British Columbia, are very well under way. After some snowfalls in Panorama and a great teamwork on the slopes between FIS, the race organizing committee and more than 200 volunteers, it’s finally go time for the racers to drop into the first downhill training session starting at 10:45am (6:45pm CET) for the women and 11:50am (7:50pm CET) for the men.

,,Lately we had some snowfalls after a nice weather period that already hardened up the slopes. Our volunteer crew is very experienced and worked hard to clean off the slopes. We are glad to finally welcome all the representatives and racers from all over the world. We will have a great race track ready for them and can hardly wait to get it going here in Panorama!’’Mike Irwin – Chair Race Organizing Committee
