Behind the results with Ilka Stuhec | FIS Alpine

Dec 05, 2019·Alpine Skiing

Despite her fragile knees, Ilka Stuhec seems predestined for glory. She started her path towards glory winning two Gold medals at the 2007 Junior World Championship in slalom and alpine combined. The year after, she switched disciplines, winning the Downhill Gold medal at the following Junior World Championships. Since then she has become one of the World Cup speed-queens, with 17 podiums in speed events, 2 discipline titles— one in Downhill and the other in Alpine Combined— and 2 back-to-back gold medals at the World Championships. Here we can get to know her better and we look forward to her come back to Lake Louise this weekend.
