Sweden's Ulricehamn surely knows how to support the FIS Cross-Country stars! Croweded along the course, in the stadium and in the woods, the cheering crowd carried the athletes to their best performance.

„We were waiting to come back to Ulricehamn for 2 years. I was pushed with the atmosphere and the crowd!"Maurice Manificat

Maurice Manificat gave a big compliment to the crowd after winning the 15km race in free technique. One month earlier, in Davos (SUI) he lost his victory only by 0.9 seconds. But he felt ready and in good shape for the 15km track in Sweden. Nevertheless, an adrenaline rush went through his body when watching Simen Hegstad Krüger from Norway crossing the finish line. The two of them fought a battle along the splits which Manificat won by +1.1 seconds.

Krüger states: "Of course it's bitter becoming second with such little time difference but that's worth the battle".

The second Norwegian on the podium is Didrik Tønseth who races to the 3rd place +8.7 seconds behind Krüger.
