For 11 times in a row, the Norwegian ladies team wins a relay race. Heidi Weng, Therese Johaug, Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen and Ingvild Flugstad Østberg  fought during 4x5km against a strong team Sweden 1 and Finland - and the snow.

Fresh snow, a light breeze and the highest level of Cross-Country skiing transformed Swedens Ulricehamn into winter wonderland. Heidi Weng started once again the race for team Norway 1 in top position, closely followed by Russian Yulia Belorukova of team Russia 1 as well as Laura Mononen (FIN) and Sadie Bjornsen (USA) and Lotta Udnes Weng (NOR 2). By the first exchange however, team Norway 1 and Russia 1 managed to get a +4 second gap to the following teams. With Therese Johaug in charge, the leading Norwegian team extended their gap constantly, only having Natalia Nepryaeva (RUS 1) still in sight. In the back, the Swedish and Finnish team put up their game with Krista Pärmäkoski chasing Ebba Andersson.

In the third leg, Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen made sure to maintain the gap to her following teams. At 12.2km she was +17 seconds in front of Charlotte Kalla (SWE), Anna Nechaevskaya (RUS) and Riitta-Liisa Roponen (FIN).

The final leg decided the faith for team Russia 1 as Sweden 1 with Jonna Sundling and Finland with Eveliina Piippo took off at 17.2km. Ingvild Flugstad Østberg finished the race for team Norway 1 with 57:06.3 minutes in the first position. Sweden 1 followed with 57:43.7 and Finland 57:47.5.
