Christian Flury new team manager of Switzerland

At the beginning of April Christian Flury took over the position of team manager of Cross-Country skiing at Swiss-Ski, which had become vacant a few days ago. The 43-year-old from Graubünden succeeds Hippolyt Kempf, who has become the association's new Nordic director.

Christian Flury has been responsible for various areas of activity within Swiss Cross-Country skiing over the past ten years. After a season as a Cross-Country trainer in Canada, he was a group coach of Swiss Ski and World Cup and Continental Cup teams for four years from summer 2010, before working as Swiss Team Manager for the World Cup and the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun for three seasons and acted in Lahti in 2017. Flury has been the head of the National Cross-Country Skiing Center in Davos for three years, and since autumn 2018 the father of two children has also been responsible for training in Cross-Country skiing at Swiss-Ski.

Flury's area of ​​responsibility as head of Cross-Country skiing also includes the management of the National Performance Center in Davos. With regard to responsibility for training in Cross-Country skiing, Swiss-Ski is looking for a successor solution.
