Cross-Country qualification races open Nordic World Ski Championships

Feb 24, 2021·Cross-Country
Drawing by Thomas Zipfel

The Cross-Country family started off the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf 2021 with the traditional qualification races. The ten best qualifiers from the womens 5km F and mens 10km F are eligible to compete at the respective race at the World Ski Championships. For many competing athletes, heading into this quali race was the only option to race and represent their countries as many FIS races had to be cancelled due to the global health situation.
