Keeping the spirits high: Thomas Zipfel's latest cartoons

Cartoonist Thomas Zipfel has a special relationship to the FIS Cross-Country world. As a former professional athlete himself, his interest and dedication to the sport has never faded.

Thomas turned his talents of observing his surroundings into illustrations. Especially in the Nordic world, his cartoons are wide spread. His regular additions of comics of the latest World Cup highlights and happenings are well known.

Many of his creations have found a permanent place in the sport world. Thomas created the original Tour de Ski logo and now set up a the original post stamp for the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022. 
Of course, Thoams also found inspiration in the current happenings around Covid-19. In October, his book "Maskenfieber" (eng. "mask fever") was published (find out more on thomaszipfel.de).

Keep your eyes out for his drawings, as some of his them will be used along the FIS Cross-Country World Cup season as a friendly reminder.
