After six years of racing in the World Cup Susanna Saapunki has announced to leave the professional Cross-Country stage and to follow her passion for professional mountain running instead.

The 28 year-old Finn recorded a total of 42 World Cup starts and one participation at the World Ski Championships in Lahti.

Her passion for running has been a combination during her training for Cross-Country skiing but has now become the focus for her future sports career. The FIS Cross-Country family wishes Susanna all the best for her future endeavors.
