With a headstart of 16 seconds, Therese Johaug (NOR) opened todays 10km F pursuit. The chasing group kept up the fast pace but could not close the gap to last seasons Distance and Overall World Cup winner.

Therese Johaug doubled her margin from the first to the final round, winning by 47 seconds ahead of the second ranked. With this performance, the Norwegian also takes the title of "Winner of the day", the fastest time of the day.

"Everything just worked out really well for me today. I felt that it's a good day for me and having a Skating race just rounded everything up."Therese Johaug

In the chasing group it was the Swedish team represented by Frida Karlsson, Linn Svahn and Ebba Andersson that set the pace, challenged by Russian skiers Tatiana Sorina and Natalia Nepryaeva. The fight for the second rank was in the end won by Tatiana Sorina who throughout the race made sure she did not risk to loose the connection to the pace setter of the chasing group. The 26 year-old Russian showed a stable and strong performance throughout the weekend and was rewarded with her best World Cup result ever and maiden podium spot.

Ebba Andersson, who caught up a 10 second gap to the chasing group in the first half of the race found her rhythm and save spot among the chasing group for the second half of the race. Andersson even set out as the pace setter but gave way to Natalia Nepryaeva and Frida Karlsson as her catch up tour had cost her some strength. Karlsson led the chasing group into the final lap. In the decisive final uphill back into the stadium, Sorina took her chances and left Andersson and Karlsson fighting for the remaining podium spot which Ebba Andersson won 2.2 ahead of fourth placed Frida Karlsson.
