A busy weekend starts today in Trentino’s Val di Fiemme (ITA) as the ROL world elite came to town to fight for the titles of World Champion. Four different formats await the junior and senior athletes. Among the Rollerski experts, also international FIS Cross-Country athletes were warming up to join some of the competitions on site.

On Thursday 16th September the new Rollerski course on Passo Lavaze will get its first international appearance as it sets the stage for the 10km/13km/16km Interval start in Free technique.

Friday evening, the Sprint experts start the fight for the titles in the town center of Ziano. The qualification of the Sprint in Free technique starts at 5pm.

Sprint action continues on Saturday with the Teamsprint in Free Technique – taking place on the same track in Ziano town center.

On Sunday, 19th September, the Rollerski family will compete the final WSC race in the 15km Mass Start, starting in the center of Ziano di Fiemme. The course then follows along Val di Fiemme, passing through the Cross-Country stadium in Lago di Tesero (host of the final Tour de Ski stage and hosting venue of the MilanoCortina2026 Winter Olmpics). The competitors then continue on the road way all the way up to Alpe Cermis where the FIS Cross-Country athletes conclude the famous Tour de Ski after the Final Climb.
