Worldloppet annual General Meeting

On 17th June, Worldloppet - the world federation for marathon skiing - gathered for their annual General Meeting. For the second time in history the delegates met online, due to the pandemic. This also was the main topic of the meeting: The impact of the pandemic to the sport of popular Cross-Country skiing. The conclusion was, that we all survived the past two winters and that we can look positively into the upcoming winter: All races are working with high pressure on preparing their massstart events in 2022.

Virtual Racing League goes into season 2
What started as an alternative option for racing due to the pandemic, has found a great fanbase - the Virtual Racing League by Worldloppet. Therefore Worldloppet decided to extend the successful platform for another year. Join 7 different virtual events and earn the title of Virtual Racer.
