Just a couple of days ago the Swedish Ski Association announced its moguls team selection for the next season consisting of 12 athletes divided into two groups - Team A and Team B.

Team A

Emil Holmgren, Filip Gravenfors, Rasmus Stegfeld, Walter Wallber, Albin Holmgren.

Team B

Lea Hedberg Lyckman, Nicolina Stenkula, Moa Gustafson, Robin Olgard, Jakob Hansson Mathies, Elis Moberg, Linus Ojeldin.

Marten Holmgren will continue as coach for the B national team and will be assisted by recently retired pro athlete Ludvig Fjallstrom during the summer's training and, just like last season, Felix Elofsson is in periods of training and competitions.

The coaches for the A team are Lasse Fahlen and Harald Marbler.

“We have a big and strong team that performed well this winter at both the World Cup and European Cup as well as the World Championships and Junior World Championships,” said Fallen, “Some new young riders who joined the team can now who challenge the more established athletes. It looks good for the next competition seasons.”

In 2022/23 the Swedish Team recorded eight top-3 finishes at World Cup thanks to strong showings from the 2022 Olympic champion Walter Wallberg and their up-and-comer Felix Gravenfors. On top of that Wallberg also snagged two World Championships medals at Bakuriani 2023. Gravenfors on the other hand clinched two gold medals at the Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco, with Emil Holmgren adding silver in dual moguls.

The Swedish team was also very successful on the European Cup tour, with Moa Gustafson clinching moguls and overall moguls titles on the women’s side, with Robin Olgaard leading the way on the men’s side in moguls, dual moguls as well as overall moguls classifications.

Based on 2022/23 results Swedish moguls fans have many reasons to look into the next season with high hopes.
