New retiree Magnus Moan did not have a lot of time to enjoy a quiet life after sports: the 35-year-old has his new job lined up already. Beginning on April 1st, Moan is now employed by the Norwegian Ski Federation as a Marketing Manager for Nordic Combined, tasked with find new sponsors for his former teammates with a special priority on the Nordic Combined ladies.

“Magnus is committed to utilising the good season we have had, and to complement our sales side. We know that he has a lot to contribute, and we want to put in place sponsors who can be with us also on the women's side. In 2021, it is the first World Championship event for ladies will take place in in Oberstdorf, and they deserve the same rights and opportunities as the guys. In the future, it will be very important for us to open as many eyes as possible for the girls”, explains Sports Director Ivar Stuan.

“I am so lucky that I can work for the Nordic Combined Norway and the Nordic Combined ladies to offer them the best possible conditions. Nordic Combined Norway has fantastic sponsors and partners but we have room for more. I am looking forward to the challenge and will use my experience to give the girls and the new sponsors the same experience I was able to enjoy”, Moan said.
