UPDATED: Finnish home team & more starters for Ruka Nordic

The Finnish Ski Association has released the names of Nordic Combined starters for their first home weekend at Ruka Nordic today.

Ilkka Herola, Eero Hirvonen, Leevi Mutru and Arttu Mäkiaho will be joined by the national group, consisting of Wille Karhumaa, Atte Kettunen, Otto Nittykosti, Jesse Pääkönen and Olli Salmela.

Austria
Already nominated their starters last week. Read the story here.

Italy
Italy will participate in the first stage of the World Cup with five athletes, who were nominated by Technical Director Federico Rigoni: Alessandro Pittin, Samuel Costa, Aaron Kostner, Raffaele Buzzi and Lukas Runggaldier.

France
In addition to the home team, the French Ski Association has also nominated their athletes for the Ruka Tour: Antoine Gerard, Laurent Muhlethaler, Edgar Vallet and Lilian Vaxelaire will travel to Finland.

Germany
Germany will start with Manuel Faißt, Eric Frenzel, Vinzenz Geiger, David Mach, Fabian Rießle, Johannes Rydzek, Julian Schmid, Terence Weber.

Norway
The following athletes will start for Norway: Espen Dahlhaug Bjørnstad, Jørgen Graabak, Jarl Magnus Riiber, Espen Andersen, Einar Lurås Oftebro, Jens Lurås Oftebro, Harald Riiber.

Slovenia
Only Vid Vrhovnik will represent Slovenia in the first events of the season. New coach Goran Janus: "We only start the World Cup with Vid Vrhovnik but I hope that more athletes will join him in Ramsau. We expect Vid to be in the top thirty in every competition."
