Italian Daniela Dejori keeps up her winning ways and also took the second Nordic Combined event of the OPA Alpencup Women’s Summer Tour in Bischofsgrün (GER).

Solid ski jumping and the second place out of 30 starters laid the foundation for Dejori’s second win in the course of the week. 63 metres and a point total of 109.6 had her start her race just nine seconds after teammate Annika Sieff. Sieff showed 64 metres on Bischofsgrün’s HS 71 jumping hill and won the first part of the event with a point total of 112.5.

Trine Göpfert (GER), and Slovenian teammates Ema Volavsek and Silva Verbic were numbers three, four and five and started with delays of 23, 37 and 44 seconds respectively.

The final 3 km roller ski race took place on the roller ski track in Neubahn and Dejori proved to be unbeatable on foot and on wheels. A total time of 8:57.2 had her cross the finish line 24.3 seconds ahead of her teammate Annika Sieff. The fastest athlete on roller skis was Germany’s Marie Nähring. A skiing time of 8:29.8 catapulted her from the ninth position to the final rank three, +38.6 seconds after Dejori.

Ranks four, five and six went to Volavsek, Cindy Haasch (GER) and Trine Göpfert (GER).
