About 30 days before the event is set to begin, the Event Task Force for the Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping World Cups in Klingenthal (GER) met today.

Representatives of the Organising Committee, the German Ski Association, the host broadcaster and FIS discussed and checked different points from the existing Covid-19 concept, the testing protocol, plans for accommodation and transportation.

With green light for all points discussed, the event can go ahead as planned, even if it will likely happen without spectators.

On the sports side, preparations are in full swing with the hill being in use for training already and a 1.5 km track prepared, which is expected to be extended to a 2 km loop for the FIS Nordic Combined Continental Cup weekend from the 15th to 17th of January.
